谢学瀛　字吉士。年三十六岁。生于江苏无锡。本籍住址。江苏无锡盛巷。弟学涛。粤汉铁路学习生。已婚。子一。女一。初学于上海南洋公学。任湖南辰州府高等学堂教员。充前淸出洋考察各国政治大臣随员。光緖三十一年。以官费游美。入康奈尔大学。习土木工程。宣统二年。得土木工程师学位。为美国土木工程师会会员。康奈尔世界会书记及副会长。宣统二年。充赴瑞士京城万国铁路会议代表。宣统三年回国。授工科进士。任督办川粤汉铁路大臣端忠愍工程咨议官。及北京财政学堂教习。民国元年。任上海南洋公学教员。现任粤汉铁路副工程师。为中华工程师学会会员。现时通信处。湖南岳州粤汉铁路局。
